WHO TB and emerging pathogens groups:

Claudia Denkinger is member of the Technical Advisory group (TGA) on Tuberculosis Diagnostics and Laboratory Strengthening to the WHO. This TGA was established to close knowledge gaps and provide technical and scientific advice on TB diagnostic strategies, tools, methods, approaches and technologies to the WHO with the aim of overcoming challenges to end the TB epidemic.

We currently have three ongoing projects with KNPM-BW: 1. Descriptive analysis of the spatiotemporal characteristics of the public’s sentiments towards the COVID-19 pandemic in Baden-Württemberg, 2020-2021

2. Evaluation of the feasibility and validity of scalable self-sampling strategies for the detection of anti-SARS-CoV-2 antibodies

3. Knowledge, attitudes, barriers, and perceptions towards COVID-19 Point-of-Care (POC) testing among healthcare professionals in Germany
